CQ World Wide DX Contest:
The weekend of Oct. 26/27 sees the SSB leg of this year's CQ World
Wide DX Contest. Together with its CW part in November at attracts
more than 35,000 participants. This DXNL largely concentrates on

Long Wave Transmitter SAQ:
The Swedish Long Wave Transmitter SAQ will be back on the air for
the United Nations Day on the 2th of October. The 17.2 kHz signal
will be generated by the historic alternator machine. Warm-up is
scheduled for 1630z, with the actual message then being transmitted
on 1700z. This time, no QSL cards or lists of received listeners'
reports will be issued. However, short rx reports are accepted via
e-mail.
