The epicenter was calculated in the Pacific Ocean about 36 kilometers south of Los Cóbanos Beach (Coordinates: 13.06 N, -89.86 O), recording a depth of 37 km. 🇨🇷 Costa Rica (RSN / OVSICORI-UNA)
The National Seismic Network confirmed a moderate internal deformation event that rocked the center of the country:

    Earthquake in the Caribbean / Central Valley Region – Magnitude 4.7 (Mw): It was registered at 21:41:07 UTC (03:41:07 p.m. local time). Its epicenter was located on land, approximately 15 kilometers west of Guápiles, Pococí (Coordinates: 10.193 N, -83.93 O), at a depth of 102 km. Despite being a profound event (origin for deformation of the Cocos Plate), its magnitude made it reported as a generalized sense throughout the Central Valley, the Caribbean region and slightly in Quepos. 
    Minor Earthquake in the Central Pacific – Magnitude 2.6: Reported in the morning at 10:38:18 UTC. The surface focus was calculated 10 km deep with epicenter 37 km west-southwest of Jaco. 

🇵🇦 Panama (Institute of Geosciences - UP)
The seismicity in the isthmus remained active mostly in the maritime periphery of the South Pacific:

    Earthquake Costa Afuera (South Coiba) – Magnitude 5.0 (Mw): It was the event of greatest energy release of the day in the periphery, occurring at 23:00:51 UTC (06:00:51 p.m. local time). The epicenter was located in deep waters of the Pacific Ocean about 458 km south of Coiba Island, with a standard depth of 10 km. Due to the great distance with the continental crust, this event was not perceived on dry land. 

🇳🇮 Nicaragua (INETER)

    Earthquake in the Region of Masaya – Magnitude 2.5: It was automatically captured at 12:29:09 UTC. The epicenter was located very superficially (8 km deep) about 5 km southwest of Masaya and 24 km from the capital, Managua. 

🇬🇹 Guatemala (INSIVUMEH)

    Earthquake in the Pacific Ocean – Magnitude 3.8: Recorded by the instrumental network at 21:10:31 UTC (concurrent with the El Salvadoran coastal event). The INSIVUMEH located this epicentral point off the coast of Escuintla with a path of propagation to the southeast of the basin. 

🦺 Infrastructure and Alerts Balance
The countryâ€Ös civil security facilities (CONRED, SINAPROC, Costa Ricaâ€Ös National Emergency Commission and Civil Protection of El Salvador) confirmed that rapid assessments in sensitive regions did not shed structural material damage, power line collapses, or people injured or seriously affected after regular tectonic activity recorded yesterday.
