ACMA - New RRL goes live from 10 June 2026
From the 10th June 2026 the ACMA will go live with its new Register of Radiocommunications Licences (RRL)
- this is following a month trialling their new RRL interface.

Since the transition of Amateur Radio Licencing to the Class Licence amateur radio operators have dropped
out of the RRL and only the amateur Repeater and Beacons are listed as they remained licenced under the Apparatus regime.
The only amateur-related information available on the RRL relates to those who hold:
non-assigned amateur licences that have not yet expired or been surrendered, the last of which will expire in mid-2028
amateur beacon or repeater licences
scientific licences for amateur radio activities.
If you are interested in looking up amateur call signs under the amateur radio class licence, you can do so with the
ACMA online call sign register, which shows:
whether a call sign is assigned, available or reserved
for assigned call signs, the qualification level of the amateur to whom it is assigned.
