The main weather surveillance and alerts in Central America for tomorrow, September 11, 2026, focus on risks of flash floods, landslides and severe thunderstorms. The interaction between Tropical Wave No. 44 and monsoon trough will maintain a high rate of instability and saturated soils throughout the region.
The warnings of prevention and monitoring issued by the official entities of each country are in force under the following conditions:

Panama: The Sinaproc keeps active its Surveillance Notice for rains and significant storms throughout the national territory and its coasts until Friday afternoon. The IMHPA warns of accumulated water critics, strong thunderstorms and wind gusts, extending the greatest risks to the Western Caribbean region.
Guatemala: INSIVUMEH and SE-CONRED support surveillance for warm, humid and instability environment in the Pacific. Strict recommendations are issued for the likelihood of sudden river floods, lahars in the volcanic chain and reduction of haze visibility in the Central Altiplano and the West.
